About the job
We are looking for a Junior Buyer to support procurement operations and ensure the timely availability of materials required for production. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, managing purchasing documentation, and supporting sourcing activities in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Handle purchasing activities to ensure on-time sourcing of materials for production need
  • Maintain and update purchasing documentation, including purchase requests, purchase orders, contracts, and invoices
  • Monitor supplier performance and perform necessary follow-ups to ensure successful order completion
  • Identify potential new suppliers and contribute to building an international vendor network
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Production, Finance) to align procurement with operational requirements
  • Support sourcing processes, including price comparisons and supplier communication

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mineral Resources, Chemical, Environmental or Materials Science, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
  • Fluency in English
  • ERP experience is a plus (Dynamics 365 F&O will be considered an asset)
  • 1–2 years of experience in a similar procurement or purchasing role
  • Good understanding of sourcing and procurement processes
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up effectively
  • Structured and methodical working style
  • Clear communication and collaborative mindset
