Job Description:

Title: FP&A Analyst/ Financial Modeler 

Financial Modelling Skills 

  • Proven ability to build and maintain complex financial models. Experience with 3-statement models, discounted cash flow (DCF), leveraged buyout (LBO) models, merger & acquisition (M&A) models, and integrated forecasting models.
  • Proficient in scenario, sensitivity, and break-even analyses.
  • Ability to incorporate complex business drivers, KPIs, and assumptions into models.
  • Experience with capital structure modelling, debt schedules, and covenant analysis.
  • Familiarity with operational and commercial modelling (e.g., pricing models, unit economics, sales pipelines)
  • Ability to audit, review, and enhance existing financial models for robustness and accuracy.
  • Experience in automating recurring modelling tasks and improving model usability for stakeholders
  • Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and valuation techniques.

Qualifications and Requirements 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Postgraduate studies (e.g. MSc, MBA) or certifications like CFA, ACA, or FMVA are a plus.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, FP&A, investment banking, or a similar field with significant exposure to financial modelling and business planning.
    Experience with creating financial statements.
    Previous experience with business registration and tax compliance.
    Experience in tax compliance and profit tax filing is a strong plus.
  • Key Competencies: Strong understanding of financial statements, key performance indicators (KPIs), investment appraisal methods, and business planning. Strong grasp of valuation methodologies, investment appraisal techniques, and ROI analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
    Excellent command of English language (spoken and written).
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency (must-have) (including dynamic arrays, Power Query, Power Pivot, macros/VBA, and financial functions.
    PowerPoint for preparing high-quality presentations and management reporting packs.
    Experience working with large datasets and data cleaning/transformation techniques.

Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is an asset.
