Senior Accountant

At Frey Services Hellas SA, proud member of the international Emil Frey Group, we are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. The role will contribute to the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of the company’s accounting processes, supporting financial reporting, reconciliations, intercompany activities, and compliance with applicable local and international accounting standards.

🌟 Key Responsibilities

📊 General Accounting & Reconciliations

• Manage and monitor Fixed Assets.
• Perform General Ledger reconciliations and ensure alignment with relevant subledgers.
• Perform MyData reconciliations and support the accuracy of related accounting records.
• Support the accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes in accordance with prevailing local and international standards.

📈 Financial Reporting & IFRS

• Support the preparation of Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Contribute to consolidation activities and related reporting requirements.
• Support the integrity and completeness of financial information used for internal and external reporting.

🔄 Intercompany Accounting

• Support the monthly reconciliation of Intercompany accounts.
• Manage and monitor Intercompany revenues.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely intercompany accounting.

🧾 Tax & Compliance Support

• Support accounting activities related to VAT monthly declarations.
• Contribute to withholding tax monthly declarations.
• Support activities related to Corporate Income Tax, where required.
• Ensure accounting processes and records are maintained in line with applicable requirements and internal standards.

🎯 What You Bring

• University or Technical Institute degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant professional experience in Accounting.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Very good command of English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt effectively to changing priorities and business needs.

 ✨ Nice to Have

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Previous experience with SAP.
• Hands-on experience with VAT, withholding tax, and Corporate Income Tax declarations.
