R&D ANALYST

ELPEN Pharmaceutical, the leading Greek pharmaceutical company, is looking for an R&D Analyst

About The Role

As an R&D Analyst you will be responsible for participating in the operation of the R&D analytical laboratory and conducting analyses in order to achieve the objectives of the department.

Responsibilities

• Performing analysis of products under development (trial batches, stability studies etc) and raw materials
• Ensuring that safety standards and cleanliness of laboratory are maintained
• Recording data and analysis history, ensuring proper traceability
• Performing method development and method validation / verification for final products and raw materials
• Writing protocols, reports, methods of analysis and SOPs related to the department
• Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment and devices before usage

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or in a relevant scientific discipline
• At least 1- 2 years of experience οn similar position (R&D or QC Analyst) in the Pharmaceutical Industry
• Good knowledge of HPLC technique and troubleshooting experience in the relevant area
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
• Good command of English (oral & written)
• Organizational & time management skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
