Steward - InterContinental Athens 

Scope of role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Steward to ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of Food and Beverage areas, equipment and utensils. The Steward contributes to the smooth and efficient operation of the F&B department by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Clean and maintain dedicated areas, equipment and utensils according to hotel standards.

·         Ensure that all equipment and working areas are clean, organized and ready for service.

·         Collect, transport and sort Food and Beverage containers, waste and garbage in accordance with hotel procedures.

·         Prepare and ensure the availability of equipment required for daily operations and service.

·         Follow strict hygiene, HACCP, health and safety procedures along with the hotel’s Policies and Standards.

·         Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, supervisors and other F&B team members.

·         Perform any other related duties as required by the F&B department.

Requirements:

·         Previous experience in a similar position is preferred.

·         Flexibility in working shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

·         Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle physically demanding tasks.
