Role Objective:
The role supports the corporate sales objectives across all properties by contributing to business development and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, in close cooperation with the Sales Manager – Corporate and the wider Commercial Department.
Key Responsibilities:
· Drive business for the Local Corporate Segment through an extensive materialization of outside appointments in order to produce FIT, Corporate group business, to include room sales, food & beverage sales, and catering/banquet services
· Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key & prospect clients and proactively manage clients’ requirements
· Generate and develop new business through efficient and systematic management of sales leads in cooperation with other departments
· Achieve budgeted revenues and personal department’s goals and maximize profitability
· Familiarize clients with the hotel’s facilities through invitations, hotel inspections and entertainment
· Work closely with other hotel departments.
· Perform any other related tasks as required by the Commercial Dpt.
Requirements:
· Degree in Business Administration or Hotel Management/Tourism
· A proactive sales person with a strong customer-focus
· Minimum 2 years sales experience is required, ideally gained in the corporate travel sector
· Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to build strong long-term client relationships.
· Good negotiation skills
· This is a "field-based" role, so you must be comfortable managing your office work load and your own diary of appointments.
· Initiative in undertaking sales actions that lead to sales revenues in cooperation with the Department’s Head.
· Fluent in English and Greek - conversation, reading and writing. The knowledge of another language will be an asset
· Fully computer literate and especially with Word and Excel applications
· Team player and results orientated
