Role Description

As a Business Development & Innovation Analyst, you will support the company’s growth strategy through data analysis, market intelligence, and strategic insight within the digital payments ecosystem. The role focuses on analyzing transaction data and product performance, monitoring developments in the payments and fintech landscape, and generating insights that support the evolution and positioning of DIAS services. You will work with internal data and business intelligence tools, contribute to the evaluation of products and services, and support informed decision‑making in a fast‑evolving financial technology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze transaction data and product performance to identify trends, patterns, and growth opportunities
  • Produce dashboards, reports, and analytical insights using BI tools and internal data sources
  • Monitor market and competitive developments in payments, fintech, and financial services
  • Support product and innovation initiatives through data‑driven analysis and market insights
  • Provide analytical support to business development activities, including preparation of materials for partners and stakeholders
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and senior management, translating complex information into clear business recommendations
  • Maintain awareness of industry and regulatory developments relevant to digital payments and financial infrastructure

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or another relevant field
  • A postgraduate degree in a relevant field will be considered an asset
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in Technology Sales or Business
  • Development roles within the payments, IT, or financial services sectors
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Greek and English

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • Commercial awareness and ability to translate data and market insights into business opportunities
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills

Will be considered a plus

  • Experience in payment systems, financial infrastructure, or fintech environments
  • Experience participating in industry events or public-facing initiatives
