Role Description

As an FP&A Analyst, you will be an integral part of our Finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with the CFO and key company stakeholders to deliver financial insights and projections that drive decision-making and strategic planning. You will provide technical expertise in Business Intelligence and Forecasting, offering crucial analysis on business performance to ensure reliable data supports business growth. Your role will involve identifying and understanding business challenges, proposing and developing solutions, and collaborating with the team to define key metrics and goals. As an FP&A Analyst, you’ll need to demonstrate accountability, analytical acumen, proactive thinking, and a strong drive to contribute effectively in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, ensuring clarity and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Analyze trends and variances in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with a focus on critical financial metrics such as sales, expenditures, pricing structure, and profitability, to provide actionable insights.
  • Monitor and investigate KPIs, identifying the root causes of any unexpected variances and recommending corrective actions to drive business performance.
  • Develop, refine, and manage the budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecasts in collaboration with senior leadership to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Provide ad-hoc business performance reporting, offering insights that support decision-making and strategic initiatives across the organization.
  • Contribute to the optimization of Business Intelligence (BI) tool, including developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports for the Finance Department, to streamline financial analysis and decision-making.
  • Support the identification and implementation of process improvements within financial planning and reporting functions to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and business insights.
  • Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity testing, helping to assess the impact of key assumptions on financial forecasts and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • +5 years of finance/FP&A, business analysis, ideally (but not only) in the Payments, IT or Finance Sectors.
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or relevant field. Master’s degree in a related field is desired.
  • Experience leading forecasting efforts within a high growth, ever-changing organization.
  • Excellent analytical and modeling skills along with the ability to understand trends in data, build forecasts, develop insights and turn them into strategies with high impact.
  • Ability to start from scratch on a wide range of initiatives proposing effective solutions.
  • Superior communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Experience using Business Intelligence / Data Visualization / ERP Tools.
