Role Description

As a Business Development & Innovation Analyst, you will be a key member of the Business Development & Innovation Department, contributing to the identification of new business opportunities and supporting the Company’s growth strategy.

You will analyze market trends and competitive strategies, conduct extensive market research, monitor competitors’ products and services, and help identify market patterns and emerging trends. The role combines strategic thinking, analytical capability, and commercial awareness within a dynamic payments environment.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Business Intelligence: Analyze business, product and transaction data using Business Intelligence tools and other relevant data sources.
• Performance Monitoring & Insights: Monitor key performance indicators and identify trends, anomalies, performance gaps, risks and business opportunities.
• Business Recommendations: Translate data findings into clear business insights, actionable recommendations and proposed next steps.
• Reporting & Presentations: Prepare structured reports, executive summaries and management-ready presentations for senior management and other stakeholders.
• Product & Service Promotion: Support the Department in developing analyses, presentations, proposals and initiatives aimed at promoting and increasing the adoption and usage of the Company’s products and services.
• Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct market and competitor research and contribute to the evaluation of new products, services and business opportunities.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal teams, banks, payment service providers and other ecosystem participants, and participate in relevant meetings, presentations and industry events.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or another relevant field
• A postgraduate degree in a relevant field will be considered an asset
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in business analysis, data analysis, commercial or product analytics, performance management, or a related role.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Greek and English

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Analytical & Business Thinking: Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify performance issues and business opportunities.
• Insight Generation: Ability to translate data and complex information into clear conclusions, actionable recommendations and proposed next steps.
• Presentation & Communication: Strong presentation, data visualization and communication skills, with the ability to convey findings clearly to different stakeholders.
• Ownership & Organization: Ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables, manage priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Learning Agility: Intellectual curiosity, commercial awareness and willingness to develop strong knowledge of the payments industry.

Will be considered a plus

• Experience in payment systems, financial infrastructure, or fintech environments
• Previous experience with TARGIT Decision Suite or another Business Intelligence platform.
• Knowledge of account-to-account payments or other digital payment solutions.
