We are currently in search of a dedicated MEP Construction Manager for a permanent, full-time position based in Athens.

Job Description:

As an experienced MEP Manager, your primary responsibility will be overseeing and managing the mep works as part of the residential projects within Greece's largest urban regeneration initiative. Take on a pivotal role with the following key responsibilities:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of Construction Projects: Monitor and control MEP works of the project, monthly reports, oversee and control general contractor reports, coordinate fieldwork activities regarding MEP works
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, including MEP engineers, cultivate a collaborative and innovative work environment to enhance project outcome
  • Schedule Oversight: Aid the construction manager in developing and maintaining project schedules, identifying critical paths and potential delays, apply effective scheduling strategies to optimize project timelines
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards in all manufacturing phases, conduct daily inspections and quality control reviews to ensure compliance with specifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Over 5 years of experience in Construction Management and Supervision of large-scale projects (residential, retail, etc.)
  • Experience in contract management, budgets, claims, etc
  • Experience in monitoring time scheduling
  • Excellent knowledge of English (official language of the project)
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and MS Projects/Primavera
  • Driver's license
  • Excellent communication skills, teamwork, organizational skills, initiative-taking ability, time management, multitasking, flexibility, efficiency, and consistency

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have but not Necessary):

  • Knowledge of project management platforms (Aconex, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Mechanical, Plumbing Codes and Fire Protection Codes
  • Revit, KENAK and Fire Protection experience is considered a plus
  • Professional knowledge of Microsoft Suite (word, Excel etc), Adapt Suite (FINE, GCAD) and Cad
