Fleet & Facilities Manager

We are looking for a Facilities & Fleet Manager that will plan, organize, and manage the operation of our Fleet and Facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and organizing the maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles, equipment, and building for all our facilities. 

Your day-to-day responsibilities: 

Facilities 

  • Develop strategy for maintenance, construction and renovation ensuring compliance with health and safety policies  

  • Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities, inspect work in progress and upon completion, environmental services, landscaping, equipment repair, preventative maintenance, solid waste pick up and recycling/sustainability 

  • Optimize cost through effective budget planning and management and recommends revenue opportunities  

  • Provide contract administration input on all building remodel and construction projects, including all phases from planning to project construction  

  • Establish and maintain policies, procedures and standards, consistent with conservation of energy and natural resources  

  • Oversee contracts for pest control, HVAC services, elevator, maintenance, janitorial and other contracted building maintenance services 

  • Lead regulatory audits and inspections 

 

Fleet 

  • Develop strategies for greater fuel efficiency 

  • Manage the acquisition of all fleet vehicles including development of vehicle specifications, participation in the procurement process and implementation of a vehicle replacement program 

  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers 

  • Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection 

 

 

Skills we can’t do without 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering or similar field 

  • At least 3 years of professional work experience in facilities & fleet management 

  • Ability to prepare and review plans, engineer’s and cost estimates and understand building, remodel and construction blueprints  

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships  

  • Strong analytical and financial skills
