We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Back Office Supervisor to lead our back-office operations with a focus on customs procedures and documentation. This role is essential in ensuring compliance, efficiency, and smooth communication across internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will supervise a team of specialists and contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities
● Supervise and coordinate the team of back-office specialists, ensuring task allocation and performance monitoring.
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customs-related transactions and documentation.
● Assist in resolving disputes or delays related to customs clearance, collaborating with customs brokers and relevant authorities.
● Provide ongoing support to the logistics and customer service teams regarding customs-related queries.
● Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to optimize customs clearance procedures.
● Ensure proper use of customs software and adherence to relevant procedures and deadlines.
● Communicate effectively with both internal teams and international partners.
Qualifications
● At least 2 -3 years experience in a back-office, logistics, or supply chain role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or coordination position.
● Solid knowledge of customs clearance processes and related documentation.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and relevant customs or ERP software.
● Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Greek and English.
● Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
