Logistics Analyst

The Logistics Analyst will evaluate, interpret, and improve our logistics systems to ensure efficient and timely delivery of parcels. This position involves working closely with the operations team to identify bottlenecks, improve delivery routes, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret logistics data, including delivery times, transportation costs, productivities and service levels.
• Use statistical tools and software to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Generate regular or ad-hoc reports and dashboards to monitor the performance of logistics operations.
• Evaluate current logistics processes and recommend changes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Analyze transportation and delivery costs to identify savings opportunities.
• Optimize delivery routes to minimize fuel consumption and delivery time.
• Work closely with the operations, transportation, IT and customer service teams to streamline logistics processes.
• Monitor budgetary performance of logistics activities and provide forecasts and recommendations for cost control.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations.
• Track and report on the performance of delivery services, including on-time delivery rates, customer complaints, and returns.
• Conduct regular audits of logistics operations to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.

Skills we cannot do without:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management & Analysis, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to write code in programming languages will be highly valued.
