Reservations Manager

As a Reservations Manager, you will…
· Manage all rooms reservations processes for the hotel
· Ensure all email traffic is monitored and reservations appropriately recorded and checked – dates, price, market segmentation, sources et
· Handling Online Booking Engine and the group’s multi-PMS
· Handling incoming requests (e-mail, phone calls and website)
· Processing all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone or email
· Having knowledge of all major Extranets (Β2Β, B2C, OTAs)
· Room Allocation
· Communicating with the Sales and Accounting Departments regarding offers or following up on payments
· Answering questions about property facilities/services and room accommodations
· Prepare reports for the upper management team
· Handling and monitoring commission invoices for the travel agencies
· Liaising with travel agents
· Train reservation agents to meet its standard
· Coordinate with Front Office staff to coordinate a smooth operation
Entry Requirements:
· Excellent command of the English language, both oral and verbal
· Knowledge of any other language will be considered an asset
· Multi-tasking
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Ability to effectively working under pressure
· At least 2 years experience in a relevant position
· Experience in a multi-property management system will be considered an asset
· Experience in Opera PMS and Pylon
· Familiar with Forbes standards will be considered an asset
· MS Office Suite skills
· Teamwork spirit and customer service attitude
· Ability to motivate and lead a team
· Strong attention to detail
