Financial Controller

We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Controller to join the Internal Audit Unit.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Participate in the preparation and consolidation of budgets and financial forecasts
• Monitor budget execution and Business Plan performance, identifying risks and deviations
• Analyze actual results versus budget/forecast and provide insights on variances to management
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate provision of required data and documentation
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, Group policies, and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with Accounting to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data and reporting
• Act as a key point of contact between the Unit, Finance, and other departments within the Group
• Contribute to the improvement of financial processes, reporting systems, and internal controls

Job qualifications and requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in a similar role with direct involvement in Infrastructure and Construction
• ACCA/ ICAEW qualification completed or in progress (advanced/final level) will be considered as an asset
• Master’s Degree in a related field will be a plus
• Proficiency in English, both oral and written
• Excellent command of MS-Office Suite
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
