We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Controller to join the Internal Audit Unit.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Participate in the preparation and consolidation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Monitor budget execution and Business Plan performance, identifying risks and deviations
- Analyze actual results versus budget/forecast and provide insights on variances to management
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate provision of required data and documentation
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, Group policies, and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with Accounting to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data and reporting
- Act as a key point of contact between the Unit, Finance, and other departments within the Group
- Contribute to the improvement of financial processes, reporting systems, and internal controls
Job qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience in a similar role with direct involvement in Infrastructure and Construction
- ACCA/ ICAEW qualification completed or in progress (advanced/final level) will be considered as an asset
- Master’s Degree in a related field will be a plus
- Proficiency in English, both oral and written
- Excellent command of MS-Office Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
