Mechanical Engineer // Solid and Liquid Waste

We are currently looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team for the Group’s Solid and Liquid Waste Team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Assist in the design and improvement of equipment and systems used in waste management

·        Perform preventive maintenance and repair breakdowns to ensure smooth and efficient operation of equipment

·        Ensure effective monitoring and management of project requirements

·        Conduct the certifications and the quantity surveys of the projects

·        Coordinate and monitor project contracts, subcontractors, and suppliers

·        Offer feedback and compose letters addressed to the project manager

·        Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental legislation related to waste management, including proper classification, collection, storage, and treatment of waste according to national and European standards

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably on public projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Strong Knowledge of AUTOCAD
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral
