We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Control Engineer for the Construction of the Student Halls in Crete to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the Quality Control (QC) team and program
  • Develop, implement, and maintain QC policies, procedures, and standards
  • Execute the three phases of control, including submittal review and approval, testing and required QC certifications and documentation
  • Coordinate inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement
  • Investigate non-conformities, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, or other relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and engineering teams to address quality issues
  • Prepare quality reports for management and regulatory authorities
  • Lead training initiatives to enhance the quality awareness and capabilities of the team
  • Develop and maintain inspection and testing protocols

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction industry in quality control, with a minimum of 2 years in a QC Manager position
  • Experience in the areas of hazard identification, safety compliance and sustainability
  • Excellent command of MS-Office Suite and project management software
  • Knowledge of construction codes and standards, as well as relevant regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and document deficiencies
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
