We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our subsidiary Aktor Equity Participations.
The AKTOR Group controls the financially healthiest and one of the strongest portfolios of PPP (Public-Private Partnership) and Concession projects in Greece, aiming to diversify its revenue and create value for its shareholders.
The Scope of the Position:
The Document Controller will be responsible for managing and maintaining project documentation across multiple Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects, ensuring that all records are accurate, properly filed, up to date, and organized, while supporting smooth document handling within projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and maintenance of an efficient document control system across multiple projects
- Receive, review, register and distribute all incoming and outgoing project documentation (e.g., drawings, reports, transmittals)
- Administer and maintain both electronic and hard copy document management systems, ensuring proper version control and full traceability
- Ensure that all documentation is in line with company quality standards
- Support project teams by maintaining up-to-date document registers
- Prepare, circulate, and monitor document transmittals and submission records
- Provide support during internal and external audits regarding document control procedures
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience in document control or administrative role in Construction or similar industries
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field will be considered a strong asset
- Basic understanding of document control processes, version control, and project documentation
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with electronic document management systems (EDMS) such as Aconex, M-files, Procore, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
- Excellent command of English (both written and oral)
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and commitment to the highest standards of confidentiality and data protection
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
