Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer for the Water Treatment Plant in Thessaloniki.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise subcontractors and collaborate with site supervisors and work teams to ensure proper execution of work according to mechanical studies, project requirements and work schedules.
  • Undertake preliminary and final measurements of mechanical work.
  • Oversee the installation of mechanical equipment, pumping stations, pressurized pipeline networks and
  • Monitor the progress of work, adherence to the daily schedule, and the project timeline and budgets.
  • Provide regular updates to the Project Director regarding work progress and conduct weekly and monthly reports.
  • Execute preliminary required material supplies

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or in a related field
  • Master’s degree in relevant field will be considered an asset
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in the construction of water/wastewater treatment projects is required.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD design software.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly resolve daily operational issues.
  • Organizational skills & decision-making ability.
  • Flexibility and quick response under work pressure.
