We are looking for a highly skilled Project Engineer to join us in Group's subsidiary Aktor Facility Management.
Position Scope:
The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the technical aspects of a project ensuring work is executed according to specifications, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities across facilities, in accordance with contractual SLAs and KPIs
- Be responsible for the technical supervision of maintenance contracts, ensuring that both internal maintenance teams and external contractors perform the agreed preventive and corrective maintenance works on time, safely, and to the required quality standards
- Coordinate and supervise external maintenance vendors and contractors, ensuring effective execution of daily maintenance activities
- Monitor maintenance performance indicators (response times, downtime, quality of interventions) and prepare regular performance reports
- Support the planning of maintenance activities (annual / monthly maintenance plans) in collaboration with facility management teams
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements during all maintenance works
- Identify technical risks, recurring failures, and improvement opportunities, proposing corrective and preventive actions
- Control maintenance-related budgets, track costs, and support cost optimization initiatives without compromising safety or reliability
- Review technical documentation, as-built drawings, and maintenance procedures, ensuring they are up to date
- Provide technical support during minor improvement works or corrective interventions, with limited involvement in small-scale projects
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facility or industrial maintenance, preferably within contract-based environments
- Proven experience in maintenance contract management, SLA/KPI monitoring, and vendor supervision
- Strong understanding of electrical and electromechanical systems within building or industrial installations
- Experience in cost control and maintenance budget follow-up
- Familiarity with maintenance best practices (preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, asset reliability)
- Good knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with CAD drawings is considered an asset
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and respond effectively to operational issues
- Valid Driver’s License
