We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Control Manager to join our projects in Crete.
The Role: The QC Manager will oversee all quality control processes and ensure compliance to quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement the QC program and the Technical Office
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control policies, procedures, and standards
- Lead the QC team
- Attend the QC meetings,
- Perform the three phases of control, perform submittal review and approval, ensure testing is performed and provide QC certifications and documentation required
- Plan and oversee inspections and audits to ensure compliance with specifications
- Monitor and analyze quality performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Investigate non-conformities, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, or other relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and engineering teams to address quality issues
- Prepare and present quality reports for management and regulatory bodies
- Lead training initiatives to enhance the quality awareness and capabilities of the team
- Develop inspection protocols
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering or MEP engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry in quality control / assurance or Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer or Construction Manager
- At least 2 years of experience as QC Manager
- Familiarity with the requirements of EM 385-1-1
- Experience with US Military Projects will be considered as a plus
- Experience in the areas of hazard identification, safety compliance and sustainability
- Knowledge of construction codes and standards, as well as relevant regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and document deficiencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent leadership and problem solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
- Must be authorized to work legally in Greece
