Quality Control Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Control Manager to join our projects in Crete.

The Role: The QC Manager will oversee all quality control processes and ensure compliance to quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and implement the QC program and the Technical Office
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control policies, procedures, and standards
• Lead the QC team
• Attend the QC meetings,
• Perform the three phases of control, perform submittal review and approval, ensure testing is performed and provide QC certifications and documentation required
• Plan and oversee inspections and audits to ensure compliance with specifications
• Monitor and analyze quality performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement
• Investigate non-conformities, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
• Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, or other relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and engineering teams to address quality issues
• Prepare and present quality reports for management and regulatory bodies
• Lead training initiatives to enhance the quality awareness and capabilities of the team
• Develop inspection protocols

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering or MEP engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry in quality control / assurance or Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer or Construction Manager
• At least 2 years of experience as QC Manager
• Familiarity with the requirements of EM 385-1-1
• Experience with US Military Projects will be considered as a plus
• Experience in the areas of hazard identification, safety compliance and sustainability
• Knowledge of construction codes and standards, as well as relevant regulations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and document deficiencies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent leadership and problem solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
• Must be authorized to work legally in Greece
