We are currently looking for a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join us in Group's Energy Unit.

 

The Electrical Engineer will actively contribute to the technical development, implementation, and performance monitoring of renewable energy and storage projects. The scope of the role includes:

  • Assisting with design, technical analysis, and budgeting for RES and BESS projects, including the preparation and review of Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs).
  • Preparing and reviewing technical documentation, including specifications for procurement (RFP/RFQ) and evaluating bids.
  • Providing technical support for grid connection processes, including substation design, grid studies, and interconnection solutions.
  • Supporting permitting and regulatory compliance for RES and BESS projects, including adherence to the Hellenic Regulatory Framework.
  • Analyzing project performance data and proposing optimizations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitoring the operational performance of RES and BESS assets, identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Conducting market research and staying updated on trends and developments in renewable energy and energy storage technologies.
  • Supporting the preparation of OPEX budgets and tracking operational expenses.
  • Performing regular site visits to monitor construction progress, assess asset conditions, and address on-site issues.

 

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field (Master’s Degree in Renewable Energy, Energy Storage Systems, or Power Markets is a plus).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the RES/BESS sector.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CAD software. Experience with power engineering tools (e.g., PSS/E, PVsyst) is considered a plus.
  • A strong understanding of technical operations and control processes for RES and BESS systems.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities autonomously and deliver results under deadlines.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for advancing a career in the renewable energy and storage industry.
  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel.
