Credit Controller

The Group is active in nine countries and has the largest private network in the car rental sector, with over 150 service points, of which 50 are in main airports. Autohellas is the largest Hertz franchisee worldwide and since its takeover in 2016 of Velmar and Technocar Seat, it has been expanding its activities in the import and sale of cars. In December 2017, it gained control of 70% of Hyundai Hellas and Kia.

Velmar is seeking for a Credit Controller to join it’s dynamic Team!

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage all daily cash transactions into the ERP
• Perform daily bank reconciliations by ERP records
• Monitors the financial data and general information for new clients
• Contact customers daily to ensure timely collections of payments
• Generate and review daily collections reports, aging & forecast reports
• Proposes blocking og shipments when exceeded the credit limit
• Collaborates in developing actions with the defaulting customer and in case litigation
• Prepare monthly reports that summarize collections and credit control activities

Requirements:

• BSc in Economics or Accounting & Finance.
• MSc will be considered as a strong asset.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with computer software programs to analyze payment patterns and enter data.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent knowledge in MS-Office.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Time management skills within a dynamic working environment.
