Since its takeover of Velmar and Technocar Seat in 2016, it has been expanding its activities in the import and sale of cars.

In December 2017 it gained control of 70% of Hyundai Hellas and Kia Hellas, while in May 2023 Autohellas gained control of 51% of the import and distribution of the Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Fiat Professional and Jeep brands in Greece.

Job Description

Autohellas Hertz is looking for a Financial Analyst based in Athens, to develop, analyze, and report on key business metrics used to drive company results and strategy.

The position reports to the Group Controller, within the Finance Department, and collaborates with all Company’s departments (Sales, IT, Operations, HR etc.), assisting in the development and reporting of critical metrics to senior leadership.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategy: Preparation of Business Plans, Forecasts, Budget, Cash Flows. Monitor execution and identify deviations
  • Process: Preparation of policies and procedures. Ensure execution and suggest improvements
  • Reporting: Preparation of Financial and Business Management Reports and KPIs
  • Analysis: Collect financial/commercial data and analyze trends in revenues, expenses, headcount, operations, and capital expenditures
  • Consulting: Review, suggest, challenge, and advise towards management through collaborations with other departments, acting as a business partner

Qualifications

  • University degree in Finance (Master’s degree or ACCA, CFA will be an asset)
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting or audit roles (experience from Groups with international activity or Audit Firms would be an Asset)
  • Excellent use of MS Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint (BI will be an Asset)
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English
  • IFRS knowledge
  • Ability to manage complex data requests, attention to detail and high accuracy
  • Efficient time management. Ability to prioritize requests/tasks and to work under pressure, coping with multiple projects simultaneously
