Accountant

Since its takeover of Velmar and Technocar Seat in 2016, it has been expanding its activities in the import and sale of cars.

In December 2017 it gained control of 70% of Hyundai Hellas and Kia Hellas, while in May 2023 Autohellas gained control of 51% of the import and distribution of the Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Fiat Professional and Jeep brands in Greece.

Autohellas is seeking for an Accountant to join it’s dynamic team!

Core Responsibilities

• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable, banks and other accounting entries
• Suggest ways to improve efficiency in accounting entries
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Support month-end and year-end close process

Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
• Proven experience as an Accountant
• Experience 4-5 years with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Experienced user in Softone ERP
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent knowledge of English language
