SPEEDEX S.A., member of Sfakianakis Group of Companies, one of the leading companies in the courier industry, is currently seeking Python Developer, for the Head Offices in Kifissia:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality Python code for software applications.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure the robustness and reliability of the code.
• Participate in and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues in existing software or applications.
• Debug and resolve software defects and issues promptly.
• Document code and project specifications for reference and future maintenance.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including other developers, designers, and project managers.
• Integrate databases into applications and manage data effectively.
• Write SQL queries and interact with databases using Python

Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science or relevant certification
• 2+ years of experience
• Experience working with Python programming language and its libraries.
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
• Proficient with Git and Gitlab
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools
• Flexible – ability to participate in a changing environment
• Ability to learn quickly and to self-train
• Excellent oral and written knowledge of Greek and English language
• Problem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically
• Effective communication skills
