UCANDRONE is the first company in Greece operating in the field of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), providing innovative aerial monitoring, surveying, mapping, and data analysis solutions. The company also designs and manufactures custom-built aerial platforms and offers technical consulting and training services for UAS applications.

 

The Role

UCANDRONE is looking for an experienced and motivated Junior Software Engineer to join its team. The role involves contributing to the development and support of software solutions used across UAV platforms and related systems, working closely with engineering teams on real‑world, mission‑critical applications. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support the development and maintenance of software applications and tools
  • Work with existing codebase (development, debugging, improvements)
  • Contribute to client-driven features and technical solutions
  • Support testing and deployment activities 
     

Requirements 

  • Up to 2 years of experience in software development
  • Bachelor’s degree (Technical University will be considered an asset)
  • Good knowledge of Python
  • Familiarity with front-end basics (HTML/CSS)
  • Exposure to Arduino or similar platforms
  • Understanding of working with codebases and version control
  • Very good English communication skills
  • Willingness to travel for client support when needed
