We are expanding our business and are therefore looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team in the role of Senior Financial Accountant.

In this role you will report directly to Group Controller and work closely with our Group Reporting team.

Main Responsibilities           

• Responsible for the preparation of statutory financial statements  under local GAAP & IFRS (Interim/Annually) Preparing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and support the consolidation process
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with tax advisors.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance with IFRS and statute
• Establish audit processes and relationships with external auditors to support the audit of financial statements
• Lead and manage the day-to-day accounting function, including month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Support Company’s management with ad hoc analysis and reporting projects
• Support the existing MIS system: analyze, collect and process data/information in order to generate reports about the current status and perspectives of the company

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in Financial Accounting, Forecasting, Analysis and Reporting, preferably in a multinational environment
• Excellent reporting skills (Annual and per Quarter)
• Good experience with formal audit processes
• Very good knowledge of IFRS standards
• ERP working experience (D365/SAP) would be a strong plus
• Being a holder of professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CA, ICAS, CPA) will be considered a strong advantage
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking
• Τhe position requires daily communication verbally and written in English
• Good presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teams to achieve shared goals, in a multinational/multicultural environment
