Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Group Tax Manager to manage and oversee the company's global tax compliance and strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s tax obligations are met across multiple jurisdictions, optimizing tax structures, and providing expert advice on tax planning and risk management. The role will report to the CFO and work closely with the finance and legal teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of corporate tax compliance across various jurisdictions, including VAT, indirect taxes, and transfer pricing.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with global transfer pricing policies, conducting regular reviews to maintain alignment with local and international regulations.
  • Develop and implement transfer pricing strategies that optimize the group’s tax position while minimizing risk in cross-border transactions.
  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize the group's tax position.
  • Provide expert advice on tax planning, including the evaluation of new markets, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Liaise with external advisors and tax authorities to resolve complex tax matters.
  • Ensure compliance with all international tax regulations, reporting standards, and filings.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation globally and assess their impact on the company.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to provide accurate tax reporting for quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Support internal teams with tax-related queries, offering guidance on best practices.
  • Prepare and submit tax filings in accordance with local and international requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A master's degree or tax qualification (e.g., CTA, ACCA) is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a multinational corporate tax environment or within a leading tax advisory firm.
  • Strong knowledge of international tax regulations, including transfer pricing, VAT, and double tax treaties.
  • Experience with corporate tax compliance in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
