Role Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Test Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing environmental tests (vibration, shock, temperature, humidity, salt fog etc.) on ​​electro optical and mechanical systems, according to military standards or EN standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Set-up, operate and monitor testing equipment.
  • Perform environmental / mechanical tests (high temperature, low temperature, humidity, vibration, shock, dust, etc.) as well as respective measurements
  • Use of Data Acquisition Systems (DAQ), sensors (accelerometers, thermocouples) and other equipment to monitor tests and record results.
  • Import results on the respective software platform.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical test reports and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain and calibrate (where applicable) laboratory equipment.
  • Conduct external tests

Required Qualifications

  • Degree from a Technical University ( in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering) or a related technical school (IEK).
  • Hands on experience with the use of hand tools and measuring equipment
  • Good knowledge of English (technical terminology).
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel/Word/ Outlook).
  • Must be able to work within a team
  • Driving license

 Desired Qualifications

  • Proven experience of at least 1-2 years in a test laboratory (ideally environmental or defense systems or production of such systems).
  • Experience with environmental chambers and electrodynamic vibration systems.
  • Experience in accredited laboratories according to ISO/IEC 17025.
