Role Summary
The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the manufacturing plant, ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant production operations. This role leads production planning, assembly, quality control, maintenance, machinery and warehouses, driving operational excellence while ensuring compliance with defense industry standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily plant operations including production, planning, quality, maintenance, and logistics
Ensure manufacturing output meets quality, cost, delivery, and safety targets
Implement and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
Ensure compliance with defense industry regulations, export controls, and international standards (e.g. ISO, AQAP)
Lead, develop, and manage plant personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and performance
Coordinate with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Program Management teams to meet customer and contract requirements
Manage plant budgets, resources, and capacity planning
Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and operational excellence programs
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field
Minimum 12 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with proven experience in a Plant Manager role
Experience in defense, aerospace, electronics, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
Strong knowledge of production planning, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
Proven leadership and people management skills
Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilities
Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
ERP system experience required
