Theon Group is looking for an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor.

Role Summary

 

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to oversee warehouse operations, ensuring that our processes align with industry standards and our commitment to efficiency and safety.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in the effective management of daily warehouse operations.
  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including inventory control, space management, logistics, and floor productivity.
  • Schedule and oversee the warehouse team, ensuring the efficient flow and quality of work.
  • Train and manage the warehouse staff, addressing operational issues promptly and achieving both short- and long-term performance objectives.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring all products are properly labeled and stored in compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Ensure the maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems. Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is considered an asset. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is also required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a warehouse role.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse procedures and policies.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and leadership qualities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company personnel.
