Role Summary

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating domestic and international logistics operations, ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective transportation of goods. The role requires close collaboration with freight forwarders, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders, with a strong focus on export controls, defense industry standards, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments (imports & exports) in compliance with defense and dual-use regulations

  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation

  • Prepare and manage shipping documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, AWBs, Bills of Lading, export licenses, etc.)

  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export controls, and defense industry standards

  • Monitor shipment progress and resolve logistics issues or delays

  • Maintain accurate logistics records and ERP system updates

  • Support continuous improvement of logistics processes and KPIs

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in logistics or supply chain coordination

  • Previous experience in a freight forwarding company is strongly preferred

  • Solid understanding of international transportation (air, sea, road)

  • Familiarity with defense sector logistics standards, export controls, or regulated industries

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)

  • Excellent command of MS Office; ERP system experience is an asset
