About the Role 

We are seeking motivated and skilled Technical Consultants to join SingularLogic highly skilled ServiceNow consulting practice. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the implementation and optimization of IT Operations Management (ITOM) solutions for large-scale Public and Private Sector projects. The successful candidate will participate in designing, implementing, and maintaining ITOM modules such as CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Management, providing impactful solutions that meet our clients’ business needs. 

This is a unique opportunity for System Engineers, Network Engineers, or related IT professionals with a passion for IT operations and a willingness to specialize in the ServiceNow platform.

Responsibilities 

• Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyze existing IT operations processes, and translate these into comprehensive ITOM solutions.
• Solution Implementation: Configure and deploy ServiceNow ITOM modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration. Develop and maintain Configuration Management Databases (CMDB) to ensure accurate and reliable asset and configuration data.
• Technical Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during implementation, leveraging ServiceNow best practices to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Client Collaboration: Provide technical expertise and clear guidance to clients, ensuring effective communication of project goals, progress, and challenges.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest ServiceNow releases and innovations. Leverage new features to enhance ITOM capabilities and optimize implementations for better efficiency and performance.
• Stakeholder Relationships: Build trusted partnerships with clients by understanding their business objectives and delivering impactful, tailored solutions.

Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s Degree is a plus).

Required Skills 

• Operating Systems: Linux/Unix, Windows.
• Networking: LAN/WAN, TCP/IP protocols, DHCP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls, and related technologies.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Cloud-native environments and tools for cloud discovery.
• Virtualization: Working experience with virtualization platforms.
• Web Services: Understanding of REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON.
• Scripting Languages: Familiarity with scripting languages such as PERL, JavaScript, Python, or Shell.
• Relational Databases: Proficiency in MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, or similar.

 Preferred Skills 

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISCO Certifications, ITIL, ServiceNow certifications).
• ITIL knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.
• Understanding of the CMDB lifecycle, including discovery, service mapping, and CI data integrity.
• Knowledge of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
