The Cybersecurity Product Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle of cybersecurity products—from ideation to launch and continuous improvement. This role defines the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with evolving cyber-range and cyber resilience requirements and customer needs. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Business Development, and Project Management to ensure the product remains competitive, secure, and compliant.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Define and communicate the cybersecurity product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with internal stakeholders and external market demands.
2. Translate cybersecurity market needs, cyber security compliance requirements into high-level Product Requirements and Operational Specifications.
3. Collaborate with Cyber Technical Lead to prioritize security features, ensuring timely delivery of secure, high-quality product releases.
4. Conduct ongoing market research and threat landscape analysis to maintain a competitive edge and ensure regulatory compliance.
5. Engage with key customers, partners, and industry experts to gather feedback and advocate for the product’s cybersecurity capabilities.
6. Serve as the primary point of contact for all cybersecurity product-related communication, internally and externally.
7. Work with Marketing to develop cybersecurity-focused campaigns, whitepapers, and sales enablement materials.
8. Use customer feedback, market intelligence, and performance analytics to continuously evolve the product’s security posture and market positioning.
9. Evaluate ROI for cybersecurity initiatives and align product strategies with financial and risk management goals.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree or certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CISA preferred).
- 3–5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in cybersecurity or enterprise software.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and technologies (e.g. SIEM, IAM, endpoint protection, threat intelligence).
- Experience with secure product development lifecycle (SDLC), DevSecOps, and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate emerging cyber threats and market shifts.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
