SCYTALYS is currently looking for a skilled Business Development Manager, passionate about their field of work.

 

(Responsibilities) About the role / What you can expect:

  • Generate and develop business opportunities for the domestic and international markets
  • Achieve annual sales targets
  • Present the company’s products, technologies and capabilities to customers, capture customer requirements and quality each opportunity per company strategy and objectives
  • Lead, monitor and contribute in proposal preparation and proposals and bid submission efforts, as part of an integrated Bid & Proposal team
  • Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions.
  • Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with key account clients and end-users to accomplish company objectives
  • Identify areas to improve company products and services and communicate these to internal company stakeholders

 

Candidate Profile:

  • University degree, with a focus on Engineering or Information and Communications Technology
  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline or an MBA will be considerate as an asset
  • Proven track record in delivering successful business outcomes and meeting sales quotas in the international marketplace, preferably in projects with high technological content
  • Experience and knowledge of the Defence sector will be considered as a strong additional asset
  • Solid experience in market research on an international level for the identification and qualification of business opportunities
  • Excellent oral and written command of the English language
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience in developing and structuring commercial proposals
  • Self- driven and results - oriented
  • Customer centric mindset
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Strong networking and negotiation skills
