𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞

As a core member of our Treasury operations, you will be an integral part of our Treasury operations, ensuring the smooth execution of daily financial activities and supporting our liquidity management strategy. You’ll collaborate closely with the Finance team to optimize cash flow, maintain accurate banking records, and strengthen our financial control framework.

Join us as our new Payments & Banking Operations Officer and play a key role in managing payments, liquidity, and banking operations for one of Greece’s most established Groups.

  • Monitor and report daily cash positions, supporting liquidity optimization.
  • Execute daily and weekly payments (utilities, tax liabilities, expense payments, etc.).
  • Verify payment completion and communicate relevant information within the Department for reconciliation.
  • Oversee the issuance and monthly reconciliation of Letters of Guarantee.
  • Manage relationships with banking partners — including account openings/closures, KYC updates, and e-banking access management.
  • Consolidate and analyze monthly bank balances, contributing to the monthly closing process.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Support treasury-related projects, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed financial reports and management presentations.

 

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Treasury, Cash Management, or Corporate Finance.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
