 CORPORATE LAWYER

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and timely legal advice on various issues mainly related to commercial, corporate, civil, and labor law.
• Draft, solidify, and review legal documents to ensure the company’s rights.
• Conduct legal research to stay current on legislative changes and ensure your advice is based on the latest legal developments.
• Collaborate with management to devise efficient defense strategies.
• Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations.
• Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority, etc.).
• Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization.

The ideal candidates should meet the following requirements:

• BSc degree in Law or J.D. degree.
• MA or BSc in Business Administration will be considered an advantage.
• Proven experience of at least three (3) years as a Legal Counsel/corporate lawyer in the business environment and/or a large law firm.
• Sound judgment and ability to analyze situations and information.
• Time management and ability to meet strict deadlines, working under pressure.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.
• Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation.
• Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.
• A high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
• Fluent English language skills (written and spoken).
• Ability to create relations of trust.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
