𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞

We are seeking an experienced and visionary IT Manager to lead and evolve our Group's technology infrastructure. This strategic role is ideal for a dynamic professional with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of business-driven IT solutions, and a passion for digital transformation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in aligning our IT systems with the company’s goals, managing a diverse team, and ensuring operational excellence across our locations in Greece and abroad.

• Responsible for designing IT processes and systems that align with the Group’s strategic goals (serving 350+ users in Greece and subsidiaries abroad). This includes operating systems, servers, computers, software applications, telephony systems, websites, and peripheral systems.

• Supervise the daily operations of the IT department, including coordinating, guiding, and motivating internal staff (as well as managing specialized external consultants, e.g., Real Consulting, DIS.

• Accountable for designing and implementing the IT plan that supports the strategic direction agreed upon with the Management Team.

• Develop and optimize operational procedures by implementing best practices and providing clear written guidelines for both IT personnel and system users across the Saracakis Group.

• Ensure the effectiveness of IT systems, infrastructure, and teams.

• Monitor and manage the IT budget, timelines, regulatory compliance, and specifications set by the Group.

• Analyze departmental business requirements to determine technology needs in cooperation with authorized stakeholders.

• Design and oversee IT projects within the Saracakis Group, coordinating and utilizing the appropriate resources.

• Supervise the procurement of cost-effective and efficient technology equipment and software.

• Oversee the proper functioning of all technological equipment, software, applications, and websites.

• Prepare and submit reports to senior management regarding IT strategy, plans, and budgeting.

• Stay fully up to date with developments in the IT sector, industry trends, and proactively identify upgrade needs for systems and applications.

• Conduct continuous market research and propose the development of strategic partnerships and cost-effective agreements with IT vendors.

What will you bring:

• University degree in Computer Science; a Master’s degree will be considered an asset.

• At least 10 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 6 years in managerial roles.

• Experience with Microsoft ERP systems (D365 SCM, Business Central, Navision, Incadea).

• Strong knowledge of commercial and financial management.

• Familiarity with critical areas such as IT Strategy, IT Business Analysis, IT Business Support, SQL, and Digital Transformation.

• Results-oriented with strong deadline management skills.

• Excellent communication abilities and skills in identifying and presenting solutions.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills, team management, and project management capabilities.

• Confidentiality and a collaborative team spirit.

• Excellent command of the English language.
