We are looking for a Senior Site Engineer to support the construction supervision of high-pressure natural gas projects. The role involves on-site supervision, quality control, and monitoring of contractor performance, ensuring that all works are executed in full compliance with contractual requirements, technical specifications, and applicable legislation while is suitable for experienced engineers with a strong background in Oil & Gas infrastructure, particularly in medium- and high-pressure natural gas networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise construction activities and monitor the implementation of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures by Construction Contractors, in accordance with the approved Project Quality Plan.
  • Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and monitor the implementation of corrective actions by Contractors.
  • Verify that Contractors execute their contractual works in accordance with approved schedules and within interim and overall project deadlines, and review any proposed schedule modifications.
  • Review Daily Progress Reports and participate in regular weekly coordination meetings with Contractors.
  • Perform the minimum required inspection program per activity, as defined in the Technical Specifications.
  • Maintain the Project Logbook and a comprehensive photographic archive throughout the project execution period.
  • Monitor and confirm Contractor compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) obligations in accordance with applicable legislation.
  • Verify proper management, availability, storage, and protection of materials, as well as implementation of required site safety signage.
  • Participate in the preparation of monthly progress and supervision reports submitted to the Client.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical etc.) or equivalent degree from a recognized foreign institution.
  • Minimum of 10 years of total professional experience, including:
    At least 6 years in Oil & Gas projects, and
    At least 1 year of experience in construction supervision of natural gas projects, demonstrating involvement in supervision and/or construction of medium- and/or high-pressure gas networks.
  • Mandatory registration with the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) or an equivalent professional body abroad.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong understanding of construction supervision procedures, QA/QC processes, and HSE requirements in Oil & Gas projects.
  • High attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to work effectively on site.
