Junior Health & Safety Engineer in Drama, Greece (On-Site)

The Junior Health & Safety Engineer supports the implementation and continuous improvement of Health & Safety programs across Raycap’s industrial facilities in Drama. The position focuses on developing practical Health & Safety expertise while supporting hazard identification, preventive measures, emergency preparedness, and the maintenance of a safe and compliant working environment in accordance with company standards and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Health & Safety programs, policies, procedures, and preventive measures across industrial facilities.
• Participate in workplace inspections, safety audits, and hazard identification activities in production and support areas.
• Assist in conducting risk assessments and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of corrective measures.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of Health & Safety documentation, records, reports, and key performance indicators.
• Participate in employee Health & Safety training sessions, emergency drills, safety awareness initiatives, and culture-building activities.
• Support emergency preparedness programs, including fire safety, evacuation, and first aid procedures.

• Contribute to Health & Safety audits and management system activities, including support for ISO 45001 implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.

   

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production & Management Engineering or Energy Technology Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in Health & Safety, manufacturing, industrial operations, or a related environment.
• Good understanding of basic occupational Health & Safety principles and risk management practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Very good command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong safety mindset, organizational skills, and ability to work effectively within a team.

   

Desirable Qualifications

• Exposure to internal or external audits within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with industrial equipment, manufacturing processes, and workplace safety practices.

• Certification or training related to Occupational Health & Safety will be considered an asset.
