Senior Paintshop Lead in Drama, Greece (On-Site)

The Senior Paintshop Lead supports the multi-shift day-to-day manufacturing operations of the Paintshop, ensuring that production meets quality, safety, efficiency, and customer schedule requirements.
 

Responsibilities

• Supports the operation of the powder coating process for metal objects
• Ensures operational procedures are followed and identifies improvements related to safety, quality, and efficiency
• Provides daily coordination, direction, and guidance to Paintshop staff and supports their training and development
• Monitors the chemical pre-treatment process and ensures correct handling of materials and solutions
• Oversees the preparation and replenishment of solutions (acids and other liquids) according to established procedures
• Supports capacity and resource planning and ensures effective allocation of personnel and materials
• Ensures work is carried out in accordance with quality, environmental, safety, and information security policies and procedures
• Maintains a high standard of work and ensures the Paintshop team meets established operational standards

• Supports the Paintshop Manager in the daily management and improvement of Paintshop operations

   

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in powder coating of metal objects (metal structures, doors, etc.) or relevant industrial experience
• Leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coordinate and guide a multi-shift team
• Strong initiative, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Advanced English knowledge (oral and written)
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and ERP Systems (preferably SAP)
• Ability to work on rotating shifts
• This position requires full-time presence at our Drama facilities
