As Assistant Accountant at PHĀEA, you are an essential part of our financial team. Your role involves supporting financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and complying with regulations. You handle various financial tasks, including reconciliation, transaction processing, and payment management. Additionally, you assist with tax compliance and administrative duties. In this role, you contribute to financial integrity within the organization, playing a pivotal part in our financial success. The role is based in our HQs in Chersonissos.

Job Fit - Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank accounts.
- Conduct regular reconciliations and address discrepancies promptly.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Assist in hiring processes, ensure contract compliance, and align financial aspects with HR.
- Process financial transactions.
- Oversee expense and card payments
Must-Have:
- Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant, preferably in hospitality industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- Knowledge of invoicing procedures, tax regulations, social insurance legislation and labor laws.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with HRM software (Pylon) and accounting software (Softone).
- Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting.
