The Greek leading Biscuits & Bakery company Ε.J. PAPADOPOULOS S.A. is seeking to employ an enthusiastic and self-motivated:

Quality Systems Specialist

to join the Quality team in Central Office in Athens, reporting to the Quality Systems Manager

The Role

Quality Systems Specialist, as a member of the Quality Management team, will contribute to ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations. Additional he/she will contribute in  supporting and implementing activities and procedures, with the aim of improving quality, in accordance with the requirements of the quality standards, as well as with the requirements of the Company and its Customers.

How you will contribute:

  • Complaints Management: Follow up and reporting, root cause analysis, preventive and corrective actions and reporting on investigations
  • Documentation Management: Overseeing the creation and maintenance of the document management system, ensuring its compliance with applicable regulations
  • Collaboration with other departments to process customer requests
  • Implementation of all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Collaboration with external bodies on certification issues
  • Participation in internal audits and QMS process audits
  • Ensuring that all internal systems and procedures are updated, reviewed and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies
  • Contribution to the creation of Sustainability Reports as a member of Papadopoulos' Sustainability Team

What you will bring:

  • University degree in Chemistry, Food Technology or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications will be considered an asset
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems in a related industry (food) may be preferred
  • Experience in communicating with consumers and suppliers
  • Excellent knowledge of English and MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of software (SAP, ERP) or other quality tools and techniques
  • Understanding of ISO standards
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present information and respond to inquiries
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and interpret quality metrics
  • Attention to Detail: Methodical approach to work with a strong emphasis on detail and accuracy
  • Self-discipline, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a cross-functional context
  • Team spirit & High degree of personal and professional ethics and integrity
