About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated and creative individual to join our ICT team for EU Institutions and International Organizations.
If you are highly self-motivated, methodical, business minded and have a drive to increase business we want to hear from you.
As a (Senior) Sales Specialist you will focus on improving and growing ICT business, by developing business, driving sales activities to achieve targets, and manage clientele.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop business with existing and new customers focusing on ICT solutions and services that will fulfill their needs and lead their digital transformation.
- Participate actively in value proposition, solution development, partner identification and risk management taking into consideration the commercial strategy.
- Lead the preparation of the financial offers ensuring that cost elements, risks and profitability targets are met.
- Drive the negotiations with the clients and the main partners and suppliers
- Collaborate with internal working groups (presales, delivery, procurement, recruiting, legal) to analyse and design optimal ICT solutions to address clients’ requirements
- Assess the risks and opportunities of future projects based on the stakeholders’ inputs, challenge and validate the way these risks will be mitigated
Required Skills
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or relevant field;
- More than two (2) years of experience in Sales and Business Development, or more than (4) years for Senior candidates
- Experience with procurement procedures and processes of EU Institutions, International Organizations, or Public Institutions is a strong plus
- Broad network of partners and knowledge of the EU market is a strong plus
- Knowledge of the IT market and strong understanding of major IT Technology trends (Cloud, Cybersecurity, AI)
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to establish relationships of trust and to negotiate with clients and partners
- Ability to lead and work effectively in a virtual team environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage time productively
- Fluency in English and the ability to address an international audience
- Knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus
