About the role

As a Mobile System/Core Senior Engineer, you will be part of a very competent team that develops and is responsible for the lifecycle of a pan-European mobile network. You will be stationed in Athens, Greece and interact with a local and an international team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

You will take part in the following System/Core activities:

• Network Architecture & Design
• Network Configuration & Development
• Modernization/Evolution
• Solution Designs
• HW/SW Acceptance Activities

Required skills:

• BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications
• Very good knowledge of Mobile Core Networks (S/PGW)
• Very good knowledge of Routing & Switching
• At least 5 years of working experience in the Telecoms sector
• Very good knowledge of English language (at least B2 in verbal/writing abilities)
• Very good technical writing skills (in Greek and English)
• Analytical thinking
• Target-orientation
• Demonstration of professionalism, positive attitude and team spirit
• MS Office applications experience
• Capability of working under pressure

Preferred skills:

• Experience in end-to-end System Engineering
• Knowledge of:
  • IP Protocols
  • Services over IP
  • Policy and Charging Control
  • Network Security
  • Cisco Routers/Switches
  • Cloudification
  • QoS
• Very good skills in the development and delivery of technical presentations
