ASOFIN Management AG [part of Onassis Group of companies] is seeking a motivated and experienced Investment Associate to join our dynamic investment teambased in Vaduz, Liechtenstein, and support the continued development, monitoring and management of our private markets’ portfolio.

This role works closely with the private markets team across the full investment lifecycle, including the evaluation, execution, monitoring and reporting of private equity, venture capital, co-investment and direct investment opportunities.

 

Main responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the evaluation and analysis of private equity funds, venture capital, co-investment and direct investment opportunities
  • Conduct market research, financial analysis, financial modelling, due diligence and performance benchmarking
  • Monitor existing portfolio investments, including financial performance, valuation developments, market trends and strategic updates
  • Support the management and oversight of direct investments, including operational, financial and strategic initiatives
  • Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, portfolio reports and other materials for the Investment Committee and senior management
  • Assist in the negotiation, structuring and execution of investment transactions
  • Maintain and develop relationships with external partners, including fund managers, investment banks, founders, advisers and industry experts
  • Support internal reporting, data management and portfolio analysis processes

 

Requirements

Eligible candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. An MBA or Master’s degree or other relevant graduate qualification would be considered an advantage.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory or a related investment role
  • Strong financial modelling, analytical, and research skills
  • Demonstrated involvement in investment transactions, due diligence processes or portfolio monitoring
  • Excellent command of English, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in Power BI for data analysis, dashboarding and portfolio reporting

Additional qualifications that will be considered as an advantage:

  • CFA charterholder or current CFA candidate
  • Knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation or financial modelling
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted coding / vibe coding tools and workflows for data analysis, automation or process efficiency
  • Knowledge of MSCI Private i and PitchBook

  • Strong team collaborator with the ability to independently managing workstreams and deliverables within deadlines
