Media Specialist

Onassis Stegi is looking for a highly organized and motivated professional to join our team as an in house Media Specialist.

In this role, he/she will be responsible for media planning, buying, and execution while ensuring alignment with company policies and budget constraints. The job holder will play a crucial role in optimizing media investments and maintaining strong partnerships, working collaboratively with internal teams and external media partners. This role reports directly to the Head of Communication & Content.

Main responsibilities:

Develop and execute media plans tailored to each project’s needs, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational goals
Foster strong relationships with media partners to maximize value for the organization
Conduct media buying activities, securing optimal placements and cost efficiency
Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and management of media contracts and agreements
Monitor and analyze media market trends to optimize campaign effectiveness
Maintain accurate records of media contacts, contracts, and budget allocations
Stay informed on media market trends and insights

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (a postgraduate degree is a plus)
Minimum of 4 years of experience in media planning and buying, preferably in a media agency
Strong understanding of media trends and market dynamics
Excellent communication skills in both English and Greek
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to drive value in media deals
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects effectively
A proactive team player who takes ownership of tasks while collaborating efficiently
