Job Description:

·         Unloading, receiving deliveries and checking them for damage

·         Placing goods on shelves.

·         Recording all received items in the computer system

·         Pick, quality check and pack customer orders

·         Load and wrap skids for shipping, including banding, wrapping, labelling, and loading

·         Inventory control of the warehouse

·         Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records

·         Deliver goods in the company vehicle to customers, mainly local and within Hampshire, however occasionally further afield

·         Warehouse, workshop, and yard housekeeping, including cleaning, maintenance, waste, and scrap management

·         Asset management, repair, and maintenance

Skills and Experience:

·         Previous picking & packing experience in a warehouse environment – preferred 2 years’ experience

·         Full clean UK driving licence, held for minimum of 2 years

·         Current Reachtruck /  Forklift Licence or previous experience/certification

·         Experience working in the marine industry would be an advantage

·         Fluency (oral or written) in English language

·         Workplace first-aid certification, or a willingness to undertake First-Aid training

·         Excellent organisational skills

·         Great communication skills

·         Exceptional attention to detail and able to work in a fast-paced work environment

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week)

Salary: dependent upon experience

28 days holiday per annum including bank holidays
