As part of the Infrastructure Team the System Administrator will work in a complex and demanding environment where systems and network stability is our everyday target.

Job duties:

• Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, servers, email systems, software, and hardware.

• Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems.

• Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.

• Support and improve efficiency of Microsoft infrastructures.

• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.

• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

• Act as 3rd level support for escalated help desk requests and offer technical mentoring & guidance to L1-L2 Engineers.

The successful candidate should have:

• At least 3years of proven experience in the information technology sector.

• Knowledge in VMWare Hypervisors & Microsoft Windows Server Services & Technologies (AD, DHCP, DNS) as well as Cisco IP Telephony.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server and Office 365 administration.

• Very good understanding of Backup technologies and Business Continuity Plans.

• Knowledge of basic networking and understanding of the principles of routing and firewalling will be considered a plus.
